Opportunity: Full Time
Position: RFID Sales Engineer (with our Verigenics Division)

RFID Sales Engineer is the technical lead in understanding a prospective client's business problems and mapping these to RFID-enabled products or solutions. This position teams with the client to develop product recommendations based on performance, environmental, and physical requirements, effectively articulates the value of the solution, and reliably manages the sales process. The Sales Engineer reports to the Director, works closely with Inside, Outside and Distributor Sales personnel, and supports both RFID sales and cross-selling of other company products.

Responsibilities:

Include proposing RFID tags, hardware, and solutions to meet client needs; working with the hardware, software and sales teams to create client proposals; conducting solution workshops with clients to develop a detailed roadmap of requirements and implementation; working with inside, outside, and distributor sales personnel generated leads; respond to web, trade, and phone leads in a timely fashion; presenting product at trade shows and customer sites; and providing support to Director in responding to RFIs/RFPs.

Requirements:

• 2+ years relevant experience selling RFID products and services
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent aptitude
• Background in selling and supporting hardware and software sales
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience and familiarity with IT management products and services
• Experience with management tools, network hardware, servers, applications and technologies
• Strong business and technical acumen is a must.
• Good listening skills; Ability to quickly understand and interpret customer problems and navigate complex organizations
• Effective at communicating clearly and comfortably to technical and business audiences
• Experience supporting large scale deployments and performing integration work through multiple product releases
• Well organized with a healthy sense of urgency, and able to set, communicate, and meet aggressive deadlines and milestones
• Self-motivated and self-educating, yet willing and able to work collaboratively with both customers and distributor network
• Strong experience administering and monitoring RFID data networks including Motorola, BizTalk, and Windows
• A broad background in technical infrastructure, including servers, networking devices, and storage is very desirable
• Development experience which includes working with: VB.NET, SQL, iOS
• Moderate travel is involved
